Course Objectives

Students should understand the notions of continuity and differentiability of functions in one and several real variables and be able to prove the basic results about such functions. Students will also learn how the concepts of uniform and absolute convergence apply to the study of continuous and differentiable functions defined by sequences. Students will also get an introduction to the topology of metric spaces.
