Description:		Topics related to surgical procedures, including aspects of anatomy, physiology, immunology, wound healing, microbiology, surgical instrumentation, and surgical techniques. Emphasizes development of hands-on skills to operate surgical equipment and perform simple surgical procedures on anesthetized chickens.
