Course Description:	Principles of biology, with an emphasis on plants and the importance of science in daily life. Topics include energy metabolism, cell biology, plant physiology, genetics, evolution, ecology, agriculture, and the environment. Students will learn to use these principles to predict human impacts on the environment.
