Description:		Examination of the artistic production in Europe during 1700-1800, along with the rise of the art academy, the public art exhibition, and art criticism. The major styles or movements - Rococo, Neoclassicism, Romanticism - are studied as well as the new pictorial concepts of the picturesque and sublime.
