Description:
Practical experience in health education/promotion through placement in an appropriate community or worksite setting.

Equivalent Courses:Not open to students with credit in HPRB 5560S
Nontraditional Format:Community health field experience/internship under the supervision of a health professional who has been approved by the department. Student compiles a work "diary" and a portfolio of professional activities and submits a final written report about the experience. Students spend 50 hours in the field for each hour of credit earned.
Prerequisite:HPRB 4400 and HPRB 5900 and permission of major
