Course Description:	Introduction to soft condensed matter, including the general aspects of chemistry, physical properties, structure and dynamics, and applications of soft materials (including polymers, colloids, liquid crystals, amphiphiles, gels, and biomaterials). Emphasis is placed on the molecular forces related to self-assembly.
