Course ID:	BCMB 4030H. 4 hours. 1.5 hours lecture and 3 hours lab per week.
Course Title:	Bioprocess Technology (Honors)
Course Description:	Introduction to concepts in Biotechnology. Students will examine lab safety, quality systems, calculations, doubling time, protein analysis, downstream processing, design of experiments, protein expression, and protein purification. This lab class will include projects for student teams to work on as well as out-of-class assignments.
Athena Title:	Bioprocess Technology Honors
Nontraditional Format:	Students will be given reading and writing assignments to be completed out of class each week.
Prerequisite:	Permission of Honors
Semester Course Offered:	Offered fall and spring semester every year.
