Course Title:CAD/CAM for Objects and Jewelry
Course
Description:
Introduces students to digital tools used in visual art practices. Emphasis will be on computer-aided 2D and 3D design, modeling, and manufacturing using the latest software available. Students will leave with a foundation to pursue further production, prototyping, and modeling goals to design and create objects and/or jewelry.

Equivalent Courses:Not open to students with credit in ARST 3660E
Nontraditional Format:Fabrication of CAD projects will be done by students in the metalsmithing and jewelry studios of the School of Art, as well as other digital fabrication and maker spaces on the UGA campus.
