Description:
Prepares students to become leaders in family and consumer sciences through an in-depth exploration of their leadership style. In this course, students have an opportunity to delve into the history of family and consumer sciences, leadership models, leadership from a diversity and inclusion perspective, and develop their own mission/philosophy/values statement as it relates to family and consumer sciences and leadership. Discussions include the personal, professional, and technical elements involved in leadership development.
