Description:
Designed primarily to prepare you to teach topics that are typically described as “music theory” to pre-college students. Such topics include several different areas of musicianship including fundamentals, harmony and voice leading, sight-singing, contextual listening, transcription/dictation, and analysis. Designed to be a practical course that places an emphasis on how to teach pre-college music theory topics through effective lesson planning and model teaching.
