Course Title:Introduction to Vehicle Dynamics
Course
Description:
Course focuses on the dynamics and controls of land vehicles. Activities include a physical understanding of automotive vehicle dynamics such as simple lateral, longitudinal, and ride quality models; a design of ground vehicles for directional stability and control; tire mechanics and their effects on vehicle performance; and a synthesis of the steering mechanism and suspension system. Digital simulation of vehicle dynamics using computers will be conducted.
