Course Title:Visual Anthropology: History, Theory, and Creation of Ethnographic Videos
Course
Description:		This course is designed to introduce students to anthropological uses of photographs, films, and video and also teaches theory and method for the creation of ethnographic video. Students will gain a broad background in historical uses of video in anthropology, visual theory, methods, analysis, and aesthetics. Particular attention will be given to visual and other sensory data in film.
