Course Title:	Dance Composition
Course Description:	Introduction to dance composition emphasizing fundamental choreographic elements, structures, devices, and improvisation in developing an artistic stimulus into movement material. Students will engage in solo, duo, and collaborative small group studies and participate in class showings and peer feedback throughout the course. Students will also critically examine dance choreography through a variety of readings and video viewings to give context to their own creative work.
