Description:		Survey of selected topics in dance education, emphasizing learning theories, history of dance in education, diversity and gender issues, scientific principles and theories related to the teaching of dance, including cognitive science and motor learning applications, and assessment. Includes 4-8 hours of community or K12 school field experience.
