Course ID:	CHEM 4600. 1-4 hours. Repeatable for maximum 12 hours credit.
Course Title:	Independent Research
Course Description:	Students will pursue directed research with a chosen faculty member, and will prepare a written report of their research progress for credit.
Athena Title:	Independent Research
Nontraditional Format:	Students will spend from two to four hours in the research laboratory for each hour of credit.
Prerequisite:	CHEM 2212 or CHEM 2312H or CHEM 2412 or CHEM 2212L or CHEM 2312L or CHEM 2412L or CHEM 2300 or CHEM 2300L
