Course Title:Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, and Diversity in the Public Sector
Course
Description:		An overview of the challenges and opportunities associated with managing public organizations in our increasingly diverse society. The history of efforts to combat employment discrimination will be discussed along with the emergence of affirmative action programs and the important role of the courts in adjudicating disputes that arise in this area of concern. The development and impact of diversity management programs in the 1990s will also be reviewed.
