Description:
Provides intensive support for graduate students who are writing up qualitative research studies for professional journals, theses, and/or dissertations. Explores a variety of models of writing within qualitative research traditions across disciplines. Supports writers through individual writing conferences, structured writing time, and group feedback.

Nontraditional Format:This course will be taught 95% or more online. This course will be taught 95% or more online. This is a six-day intensive writing retreat. Each day students write for 6 hours, confer with their peers and instructor for 1 hour, and participate in a 3-hour group seminar where they discuss issues and read excerpts of their writing for group feedback.
