Course Title:Undergraduate Teaching Assistance Experience in Animal Science
Course
Description:
Students will incorporate knowledge in animal and dairy science through a teaching experience in a course matched to the student's experience, education, and interests. The student is expected to meet regularly with instructor to discuss the teaching objectives and subject matter and to participate with a discussion or laboratory section.
Athena Title:UNDERGRAD TEACH
Nontraditional Format:Students will meet weekly with course instructor to discuss, plan and coordinate the week's activities. Students will then lead or assist with the discussion/laboratory section they are assigned to. It is expected that each student will have a minimum of 3 hours of faculty contact and/or teaching experience per week for each hour of credit.
Prerequisite:ADSC 2000-2000L or ADSC 2010 or permission of department
