Course Title:Classical Recording
Course
Description:
Hands-on introduction to the equipment and training in the process which comprises a typical classical (acoustic performance) recording project. Topics include venue assessment, positioning of performers, mic techniques, use of spot mics, recording “takes,” the roles of the engineer and producer, creating an Edit Decision List (EDL), editing, and mixing/mastering.
