formulating a diet for research purposes.
2) Understand how feed ingredients can impact the variables
associated with individual research objectives.
3) Understand the process behind experimental design and
statistical analysis as it relates to feeding trials. |

2) Feed ingredients used to provide nutrient requirements.
3) Feed milling technology and process.
4) Using a linear programming, least-cost feed formulation
program.
5) Basics of experimental design for short feeding trials.
6) Basics of experimental design for longer-term floor trials.
7) Statistical analysis of nutrient requirements. |
