design in health research, data collection and management, and introductory concepts and methods of statistical data analysis. |

Course Objectives: | This course is intended to serve as a introduction to Statistics
for those in health-related fields. Standard topics of
introductory statistics would be covered, but with more emphasis
on topics which are commonly encountered in the health sciences.
Topics not covered or not emphasized in traditional intro
Statistics courses but emphasized here would include: data
collection and management in health-related research, design of
health-related surveys and experiments, analysis of count and
Categorical data, and nonparametric statistical methods. |
