| Course Objectives: | • To become familiar with a variety of types of public
relations crises
• To develop professional analytic skills required in the
practice of public relations within the context of crisis
communication
•To become familiar with communication theories and practices

• To learn effective crisis communication as it is applied for
organizations in the private and public sectors
• To understand and develop the components of an overall crisis
communication plan
