Course Objectives: | This course exposes students to the socio-cultural, aesthetic,
and economic influences that shape non-U.S. media. Students will
watch entertainment media that is produced and/or distributed in
other countries and in other national contexts; understand
relevant social movements and cultural events; and consider
conditions and implications of cultural reception. |
