Course Objectives: | Each student will take responsibility along with his or her
professor for developing a syllabus for the course. Students
who successfully complete the course should have an
understanding of relevant research in specific area of emphasis
and appropriate experimental methods. Students will assimilate
information from discussion with instructor and interactions
with other lab researchers and assigned readings. Students will
be evaluated on the basis of their understanding of their
project and level of effort. Each student must prepare a paper
that describes his or her research project. This paper will be
used to evaluate the student. |
Topical Outline: | Each student will take responsibility with his or her professor
for developing a syllabus. Specific topics will vary since this
is an individualized and interdisciplinary program. |
