Course Description: | Provides a foundation in the principles and importance of sales,
fundraising, and revenue generation in the sport industry. It
covers key sales, fundraising, and revenue generation elements,
such as the sales process, relationship building, customer
service, business development and the arc of the dealmaking
process. |

Course Objectives: | Completion of this course will provide students with the
essential skills to become successful sales executives in the
field of sport by:
- Increasing understanding of the sales process in the
importance of revenue generation in sport
- Understanding general sales fundamentals
- Identify best practices for fundraising, ticket sales, and
revenue generation
- Evaluating current and future trends in the sports industry
related to revenue generation
- Developing a unique sales perspective and understanding which
methods work for personal characteristics. |
