Course Description: | Provides students with knowledge and skills to work effectively as leaders and managers, emphasizing diversity and inclusion in professional, collegiate, and recreational sport, community sport clubs, and sport federations/associations. Students will learn leadership and management styles to help create diverse, inclusive, and equitable organizational cultures in sport industry. |

Course Objectives: | a. Students will examine inclusive leadership and management styles in sport.
b. Students will gain knowledge and skills about strategic leadership and management and apply them in times of crisis in real-life situations.
c. Students will possess knowledge and experiences on diversity to be innovative in varying areas of the sport industry.
d. Students will gain a general understanding of best practice examples used in sport for development to enable them to develop culturally responsive programs in their communities.
e. Students will gain knowledge and apply the information to diversely focusing on leadership, management, and social responsibility. |
