Course Objectives: | 1. Encapsulate what literacy/ies are potentially involved in
students’ personal and academic worlds and how those two worlds
can be intertwined in the content area classrooms.
2. Discuss theories, research, and strategies used when
teaching content area materials and concepts.
3. Apply those theories, research, and strategies to issues
that might occur in the classroom. |
