Course ID: | PATH 8240-8240L. 4 hours. 3 hours lecture and 3 hours lab per week. |
Course Title: | Plant Nematology |
Course Description: | Morphology and biology of plant parasitic nematodes. A review of
nematology, with an emphasis on nematode morphology, nematode
disease of plants, and nematode management. |
Oasis Title: | Plant Nematology |
Prerequisite: | PATH 3530-3530L |
Semester Course Offered: | Offered spring semester every odd-numbered year. |
Grading System: | A-F (Traditional) |

nematode morphology and anatomy, taxonomy, life cycles, biology, disease symptoms,
and host-parasite interactions of the major plant-parasitic nematodes, population
dynamics, nematode survival, role in disease complexes, and principles of nematode
management. Lecture is supplemented with articles assigned for reading. |
