Course Objectives: | This course introduces graduate students to the methodologies
used in genetic mapping, genome analysis and comparative
genomics. By the end of the course, students should be able to:
(1) Construct a genetic map
(2) Conduct comparative analyses
(3) Be conversant about the cutting-edge technologies that exist
in genome analysis
(4) Be able to apply the concepts taught in the course in a
laboratory environment. |
