Course Objectives: | Students will demonstrate a basic knowledge of the fundamental
skills of running.
Students will gain an appreciation for running as a way to
exercise and improve overall health in life.
Students will understand the importance of physical activity as
it relates to a healthy lifestyle.
Students will demonstrate their knowledge of health-related
fitness topics, such as aerobic fitness, muscle strength and
endurance, flexibility, nutrition, and behavior modification.
Students will design a personal workout program based on their
goals. |
