Course Objectives: | By the end of the course, students will be capable of engaging
critically with philosophical texts and questions. They will be
capable of recognizing arguments and reconstructing them in their
own words. They will be capable of evaluating and critiquing
philosophical arguments, as well as constructing their own
arguments regarding fundamental questions of metaphysics and
epistemology. They will have sharpened their reading, writing,
and critical thinking skills. They will be capable of engaging
fruitfully with others in philosophical conversation. |
