Course Description: | An introduction to organizational theory and behavior and its application to the management of healthcare organizations. Topics include organizational governance, design, structure, ethics, and the role of managers as professionals. Case studies and skill-building exercises are utilized to provide a deeper understanding of motivation, leadership, communication, conflict, and group dynamics. |
