  • A passing grade on an examination on the history of the United States and Georgia is required to satisfy the United States and Georgia History Requirement for all persons receiving a baccalaureate degree from the University, unless exempted by one of the following courses: HIST 2111, HIST 2111E, HIST 2111H, HIST 2112, HIST 2112E, HIST 2112H, HIST 3080H. Child Life Area of Emphasis
The Association of Child Life Professional has established the bachelor's degree as a minimal requirement for Child Life certification. We currently offer a degree program in Child Life that requires an application for admittance: a four-year B.S.F.C.S. program, which, includes a full year of clinical experience and coursework at Children's Hospital of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Students should consult their advisor for information about this emphasis area.
