Description: The Agriscience and Environmental Systems degree allows students to pursue a wide variety of disciplines, allowing students to focus on various aspects of agriculture, including Plant Breeding and Genetics, Precision Agriculture, Sustainable Agriculture, or a general study of all these disciplines. Students can complete their degrees on either the Athens or Tifton campus.

Career Opportunities: Students will develop skills that will prepare them to manage their own farms, go to graduate school, or prepare for careers in extension.
Scholarships: Several scholarships are available to Agriscience and Environmental Systems majors through the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Information is available at the CAES website.
Internships: Students in this major will benefit from the opportunity to participate in internships with companies that are successfully applying the latest technologies in agriculture and related fields. Students will learn principles and their application in the plant and animal sciences, in precision agriculture, in environmental sciences, and in added value of agricultural products, all in the context of agribusiness marketing and economic development.
