The mission of the IOB graduate program is to train and mentor students as bioinformaticians to join the work force of biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, private and government research labs, and academia. More information: iob.uga.edu The Graduate Certificate in Bioinformatics serves to enhance the interdisciplinary professional development at the interface of biological and computational sciences. We train graduate students from a biological or computational background to solve problems in the field of life sciences using computational, statistical, and mathematical techniques.
