| Course Objectives: | This course provides an introduction to the economic analysis of environmental
issues. The course will be loosely divided into two components. The first considers
the economics of externalities and the policy interventions appropriate for
environmental problems. The second examines methods to assign economic value to
environmental goods. The lectures will focus on understanding general principles
rather than examining specific applications. |
