Course Title: | Advanced Topics in Environmental Health Science I |
Course Description: | An advanced course focusing on fundamental paradigms and
evolving concepts of environmental health science, including
toxicology, environmental and occupational exposure assessment,
environmental epidemiology, food safety. Topics will be
explored through a combination of lecture, case studies, and
critical discussions of primary literature. |

Course Objectives: | • Exhibit a strong foundation in the core disciplines of
environmental health science, including air quality, food and
water quality, environmental exposure, toxicology, and
management of exposures in the workplace.
• Evaluate and critique emerging areas of research in
environmental health science and their application to the
larger public health discipline. |
