Course Description: | Maximum likelihood estimation and advanced regression
applications. Topics include models with qualitative or limited
dependent variables (binary, ordered, and unordered logit and
probit; event count models), regression with time series
cross-sectional data, models with missing data and measurement
models. |

Course Objectives: | Students will learn to interpret and use advanced quantitative
techniques in political science research. Methods of evaluating
student progress include homework exercises and a paper. |
