A seminar course in entrepreneurship designed for freshman students enrolled in the Launch Pad Living Learning Community or students with a keen interest in starting their own business. Students will work in groups to develop a business idea and will explore the requirements for launching a successful business.

An advanced study, reading, and/or research of Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystems generally done in conjunction with an international study abroad or domestic study away setting.

This course offers Georgia Kickstart Fund members experiential learning in early-stage startup investing, covering angel investment, and venture capital basics. Students gain skills in opportunity assessment, conduct due diligence, and present reports on startups seeking grants from the Georgia Kickstart Fund.

Intended for Entrepreneurship Program students who show interest in an area of study and wish to pursue a discipline of practical and applied experience in greater depth. Students must be directed by a department chair and sponsored by an approved entrepreneurial business.

Provides students with innovation frameworks and tools and practical experience in their use. Student teams will develop innovative solutions for real-world business projects and implementation proposals for the sponsoring company.

Franchising an existing business format concept can create opportunities for rapid growth but comes with challenges. We will examine the components of a successful franchise venture along with likely challenges.
