a) Courses taken to satisfy core Areas I through V may not be counted in the minor. b) Courses being counted as part of a student's requirements for a major may be counted as part of the course work for the minor.
The minor in Environmental Economics and Management prepares students to understand and appreciate both the economic and non-economic aspects of resource and environmental problems, including social, ecological, physical, and legal considerations. The minor is designed for individuals who desire to "make a difference" when it comes to wise, efficient, and productive management of public and private natural and environmental resources.
