The Graduate Certificate in Comparative Medical Illustration and Interactive Educational Media is designed to be flexible and accommodate the professional goals of the student. Graduates have gone on to Ph.D. programs, as well as careers with industry, government agencies, and NGOs (e.g., as science teachers in public school systems, environmental managers, data analysts, and research technicians).

Students in the program receive travel support to attend the Association of Medical Illustrators Annual Meeting where they learn the most advanced techniques in medical illustration and network with other medical illustrators.
