The Graduate Certificate in Comparative Medical Illustration and Interactive Educational Media program offered through Educational Resources in the College of Veterinary Medicine trains students in the development of state-of-the-art educational materials such as electronic books and interactive apps. This program is open to graduates of one of the four accredited medical illustration training programs in North America. Students are mentored by award winning veterinary medical illustrators and work with Educational Resources staff members with expertise in photography/videography, 2D and 3D computer animation, graphics design, and interactive design and game development to produce materials used in the veterinary curriculum. Students take graduate-level courses in the College and apply this knowledge to create new educational materials designed to improve veterinary medical education at the University of Georgia.
