Recent graduates from the M.S. program hold a variety of positions in industry, academia, and museums. Some graduates of the master's program go on to pursue a Ph.D.

New York Peru

Internships provide an opportunity to explore future careers through hands-on experience. Opportunities in the fashion industry include interning with retailers, manufacturers, showrooms, design houses, and fashion magazines. Opportunities in the textile field include sustainability research and bio-medical textile development.

Students are encouraged to display research through presentations and publications.

The Textiles, Merchandising and Interior Department also offers a Ph.D. program in Polymer, Fiber, and Textiles Sciences.
