A minor must contain at least 9 hours of upper division course work. Courses taken to satisfy Core Areas I through V may not be counted as course work in the minor. Courses taken in Core Area VI may be counted as course work in the minor.
The Latinx Studies minor is designed to train students in a rapidly expanding and interdisciplinary body of scholarship on the Latinx population in the United States. It examines the intersections of Latinx identity with class, gender, religion, and other aspects of an evolving U.S. Latinx experience.
