This program requires a minimum of 60 hours, but students on assistantship for two years will complete 75 hours.

- This program is exempt from the GradFIRST requirement. - Students are expected to maintain a high grade point average (3.0 or better on the 4-point scale); this is considered the benchmark for satisfactory progress with respect to coursework. Students who earn grades of C (2.0) in a course will need to retake the course to earn a higher grade. - Students are required to demonstrate proof of student liability insurance prior to beginning internship.

Most program graduates are gainfully employed in student affairs divisions at U.S. colleges and universities or other related fields or positions in a variety of U.S. and international settings.

While our recommendation of admission does not include funding, we share opportunities to apply for assistantships through UGA’s Division of Student Affairs, as they are brought to our attention.

College Student Affairs Administration Graduate Association (CSAAGA) is a student-led organization which serves as a social and educational group for students, staff, and faculty. Social and educational events will be promoted, sponsored, and coordinated by CSAAGA throughout the year. All students in CSAA are automatically members of CSAAGA; there is no membership fee.
