Student will complete 10 hours of field experience through student teaching or internship, along with a professional seminar.

All candidates must meet certification requirements. These requirements may necessitate taking courses beyond those needed for the MAT (e.g., EDSE 2000). Requirements include at least a B in EDSE 6030. All candidates must obtain a passing score on GACE II test to be eligible for state certification upon graduation. There may also be other state requirements and program students should ensure to review these.
