Independent study or special projects in sports media for students enrolled in the sports media certificate program. Written proposal outlining work to be undertaken must be submitted and receive the instructor's approval before the student will be permitted to register for the course. Training in production of sports events for mass distribution. In addition to developing technical proficiencies, students will learn to prepare for and practice on-air skills such as sideline reporting and play-by-play in simulated and live experiences.
