- Due to the nature of this Professional Program, MBB students are not eligible for teaching or research assistant positions. - Students are encouraged to seek outside fellowships and scholarships, where they meet the eligibility requirements.

- Students are encouraged to pursue internship opportunities outside of Athens, when appropriate. - Students may choose to participate in the UGA Faculty-led International Engineering Project Management + Internship summer program offered in Valencia, Spain.

- The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), as a national student and professional based organization, is dedicated to developing intensive programs for increasing interest in technical fields such as science, engineering, and math among pre-college and collegiate students. - oSTEM (Out in STEM) aims to create a safe and inclusive environment for UGA students studying stem related fields. They expect to provide members with social and professional opportunities. - The Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) was founded in November 2007 to help Asian heritage scientific and engineering professionals achieve their full potential.
