Admission is open to students enrolled in Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication majors who meet the following criteria: completion of 30 hours, including a statistics course (any STAT course, BUSN 3000, or BIOS 2010) and one upper-division (3000-level or above) studies course offered by the Department of Advertising and Public Relations) or to students accepted into the Health Promotion (B.S.H.P.) major. Applicants must have an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher to apply.

Students applying to the certificate must submit a formal essay explaining their interest in strategic health and risk communication. Application cycles will occur each spring semester. Interested students should contact the program coordinators for more information.
