a) A minor must contain at least 9 hours of upper division course work. b) Courses taken to satisfy Core Areas I through V may not be counted as course work in the minor. c) Courses taken in Core Area VI may be counted as course work in the minor. The Music minor is intended for students who possess a background in music and wish to continue their study while majoring in another discipline. The minor requires 15 hours of courses in music performance, music theory, and music history. Music minors must be admitted by passing an audition in applied music.
