The Undergraduate Certificate in One Health is intended to enhance the education of students pursuing healthcare-related undergraduate degrees by recognizing the interdependence of human and animal health, as well as the well-being of agricultural, industrial, and natural ecosystems. The certificate encourages students to value the interconnectedness of animals, humans, and the environment to approach health issues and disease solutions.

Certificate applicants must have an overall GPA of 3.2, have completed BIOL 1107 and BIOL 1108, and submit a formal essay explaining their interest in One Health. Application cycles begin each spring semester.
